With the amazing Irene G. assisting, Ricardo will guide you through a fantastic salsa lesson, helping you level up from beginner to intermediate with fun and dynamic combinations. No partner needed—just bring your enthusiasm, and let’s dance the night away!
🔥 Meet Ricardo Velastegui: A Dance Dynamo!
With over 20 years of dance experience, Ricardo’s passion for salsa shines through in every step. He’s dedicated to making dance a joyful and enriching experience, helping students perfect their rhythm, timing, and confidence on the dance floor.
His incredible journey includes winning competitions across Canada and internationally, from Puerto Rico to New York to Las Vegas. Born and raised in Canada with Ecuadorian roots, Latin rhythms have been part of Ricardo’s life since childhood—fun fact: his father used to pay him $5 just for asking ladies to dance! 💸
According to Ricardo, “The most important thing about dancing is the creativity, the healing, and the enjoyment it brings.” His love for dance is truly inspiring, and his energy is absolutely contagious! He enjoys choreographing new routines, teaching social dancing, and drawing inspiration from incredible Latin artists, with Oscar Naranjo as his favorite!

• 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Beginner progressing to intermediate Bachata Lesson
(No partner required for all lessons)
• 8:00 pm – 12:00 am Social Dancing
Miss Salsa – Round Room
• 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Advanced Bachata Lesson (+$5) NEW
• 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm Beginner progressing to intermediate salsa lesson
• 9:00 pm – 12:00 am Social Dancing
• $15 entry for both classes &/or social (No partner required)
• Free parking
